Now that the Greenville match is behind us, the Raiders switch gears and compete in the very tough bracketed Ultimate Warriors tournament at West Branch High School this weekend. Here's the scoop...
Tournament Overview
42 schools are entered in this Central PA tournament where Reynolds wrestlers get to test their progress against top state level competition that they don't see very often. 20 returning state placewinners and almost 100 ranked wrestlers, from both AA & AAA, will be trying to win titles and medals at this top shelf event.
Last year, the Raiders placed 6th as a team and of the returning Reynolds wrestlers, Jalen Wagner earned 3rd, Chase Bell & Vito Gentile each grabbed 6th place and Braden McCloskey came up with a 7th place medal.
Additionally, on Saturday morning, some Raider wrestlers get their chance to wrestle matches in the JV tournament. This is a great opportunity for them to get experience and show how much they improved during the year.
